Our History
It all started in 2020 when owner and founder, Hank Baker and his wife decided to take a leap of faith. Starting a pest control company in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a challenging season. While many families were struggling, the Bakers were excited to help!
With lots of prayers and encouragement, their small business started to make a big impact. Hank had plenty of experience with pest control companies and soon realized that no one had an answer to one of the most annoying problems in Florida… SPIDERS!!!
They take over everything, including the pool cage & patio!
In the beginning, Hank would give the same excuses offered by others in this pest pandemic…

It was embarrassing and unprofessional. This is where Hank’s journey began. He researched and educated himself on many different products. After lots of trials and errors, Hank landed on the perfect solution for a Spider Free Pool Cage.
Hank and Briana, after much prayer, agreed to make the bold switch from being "Bugs & Beyond" to Florida’s official Spider Free Pool Cage™. We upgraded our vehicles, changed the business name, won the TradeMark for Spider Free Pool Cage™, and made this awesome website for families like yours.
Since Hank started in pest control back in 2010, his prayer was to see what no one else was seeing & to provide real results for families… The Lord began to answer that in big ways. The Baker family gives all the credit for the invention of this industry changing service called Spider Free Pool Cage™ and all of its success to the Lord.
God has used this business to help hundreds of customers enjoy family time, making memories on their pool/patio. Dozens of widows and hurting families have been prayed for and served. He has also provided a growing team of employees who have been blessed and provided for, and He’s continuing to do so much more! Being able to serve people is at the forefront of what drives the Baker family. Now with an incredible team at Spider Free Pool Cage™ they are able to provide a one of a kind service!

Globally:
Hank and Briana knew God called them to impact Christian missions around the world. Since the age of 16, neither ever imagined it would be through owning a bug company. After getting married, they moved to central Florida and completed a bachelor's degree from the Baptist College of Florida while serving as a Youth Pastor for 5 years. The Lord used that time to prepare them for what was next.
Since the start of the company, their commitment to work was to impact and fund missionary work in some of the most needed areas around the world. Within the first three years they made a connection with a team of amazing christian brothers & sisters serving in India among the Tibetan Buddhists. There have been many opportunities to pray, learn, encourage, and support the work our friends are doing among the poorest and hardest places to reach on the planet. Our team is happy to serve here in Florida so that others can continue to show the love of Jesus!
